Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, May the love of the Father and the grace of Christ be with you always. As we are in our fundraising period, we sincerely thank you for your support. We will always keep this encouragement in our hearts. Various pastoral and evangelization works of the Center, along with the 'Love in Cana' Catholic marriage project, are actively underway. The services of 'Love in Cana' have injected new blood into the Center. Together with the existing youth of the Center, they gather here and spark more inspiration. Recently, the addition of a group of young parishioners in their twenties has further strengthened the original intention of the Friendship Center: to ignite the fire of faith in young lives, to walk with friends on the path of faith, to meet a partner of the same faith, and to build a Christian family! The work of Catholic marriage in Taiwan has grown from a barren land to blossoming branches, with frequent good news. Seeing the birth of Catholic families one after another urges us to strive forward. Through our efforts, 'Love in Cana' currently features Marriage Apostles, a Catholic marriage website, singles social events, one-on-one matchmaking services, and educational advocacy activities. In addition to the existing services of 'Love in Cana', we plan to expand to the central and southern regions to help young people there meet partners in the Lord. In an era of rising prices, advancing all of this requires professional pastoral workers and substantial funding to operate. The family is the important cornerstone of the Church. 'Should I accompany him/her to the temple, or go to church by myself?' has always been an inescapable dilemma in interfaith marriages. The phenomenon of 85% of Catholics gradually drifting away from the Church after marrying non-Catholics is an urgent issue! Facing Catholic marriage squarely, caring for the unmarried youth of the Church, and helping the Church face this undeniable danger together so that the local Church can develop healthily is the proactive approach we should take!
